After a day of designing, I decided to roll to a few bike night events last night. I grabbed my peach Citizen E-Cigar, got geared up and headed to Fatburger on Crenshaw, in Los Angeles to hang with my fellow Steel Horses, Sik Wit It MC, and Rowl Doggs MC. Pulling up on, the BMW R1200RT immediately turns heads. From there, I headed to Pomona and the Black Knightz MC clubhouse. Usually, I wouldn't jump at the chance to take an hour long night ride, but this bike is so comfortable and fun to ride, I headed out. They had over 400 riders come out to hang out. Again, pulling up gets a lot of looks. Most of my folks on the bike set haven't had the chance to see a BMW sport touring bike up close, so I had the honor of walking them through the features. The adjustable wind screen, multi-controller and digital suspension were the main features that caught their attention. I decided to head home to Long Beach and the bike road like a dream. This is definitely a great choice for highway rides! Just 1 week till we head out for the Coast 2 Coast Ride, and I can't wait!
